Penn’s Landing Corporation is proud to present the 2008 Summer Program Season.
We are excited to be working with Mayor Nutter and his team to produce a diverse offering of free public programming and share his vision to make Philadelphia the best City it can be by providing exciting programs and cultural events for the residents of the Greater Philadelphia region.
Penn's Landing Corporation is the non profit organization responsible for funding and producing public programming at Penn's Landing. We know that people count on us to produce their favorite summer and winter traditions and are steadfast in our commitment to quality public entertainment.
This jam packed summer program features free events every weekend June through September, including outstanding free concerts, twelve different multicultural festivals, large screen outdoor movies, fireworks, signature family programming and marquee talent.
The Feel Great in ’08! Fitness Series is a new addition to the Penn's Landing Summer Program Season and an extension of the Independence Blue Cross’ Feel Great! in ’08 campaign. Feel Great Fitness Series will begin Sunday, June 8, 2008 from 9:00a.m. - 11:00 a.m. through Sunday, August 31, 2008 on the Walnut Plaza, Columbus Blvd. at Walnut Street, adjacent to the Great Plaza at Penn's Landing. This series is free to all who participate, due to the generous support of Independence Blue Cross.
Penn's Landing Corporation is also proud to offer the opportunity for the public to explore, enjoy and appreciate the honored sailing vessels and ships of the United States Navy and Coast Guard that routinely visit our waterfront.
